Guide to Root HTC Desire 816

In this tutorial, I will share tutorial to root HTC Desire 816

1. Install HTC Sync Manager

(Required because it packs in the drivers essential for PC to recognize the device)

2. Unlock your phone's bootloader

Follow the steps listed here : http://www.htcdev.com/bootloader

You need to select device model as "HTC One"(Don't worry, it all follows almost same steps)

3. Download and Install a custom recovery!

- Download your recovery exe file(I recommend it so that it doesn't causes any troubles for newbies) from here.
- Boot you phone into fastboot and run the exe file, it will install the recovery(CWM 6.0.4.7 as of the date of writing).
- Boot into recovery by selecting HBOOT(Select using Power button and scroll via volume keys)

4. Download and flash SuperSU!

- Download the latest SuperSU zip file from here!
- Place it in the root of your sd card(Internal or External, your choice)
- Boot into recovery and select "Install Zip from SD Card".
- Select where you kept the flashable zip(Internal/External storage)
- Select the file when it shows all your files and then select "Yes" to let it flash.
- After flashing completes, reboot!
- Use the wp_mod.ko module from here!
- ?
- Profit! You finally have a rooted HTC Desire 816! Yay!

  • Install LG drivers if they are not installed yet.

  • Download the LG One Click Root and extract to some folder. (double click on the 7z exe file)

  • Enable Usb debugging on your phone. (Go to Settings > General > About phone > Software information, tap Build number seven times and then go to Settings > Developer options and turn on Usb debugging)
  • Connect your phone to pc.
  • If you are using the GUI version just run the LG One Click Root installer, or if you are using the script then double click on the LG Root Script.bat file, to run the script.
  • Follow the instructions.
  • If the phone not recognize, try to switch between MTP and PTP options.
  • If you got "MSVCR100.dll is missing" error, install Visual C++ Redistributable. (64 bit users, also install this file and not the 64bit version)

UNROOT LG G3

After the root, if you want for some reason (warranty etc) to unroot the phone, all you need to do is a full unroot from the SuperSU settings.

Root & Unroot Asus Zenfone 5 KITKAT 4.4.2

This time I will share tips how to root asus zenfone 5 kitkat, remember! only for kitkat, jelly bean may be not work.

Warning : I will not be held liable for any damage on your device. It may void your warranty. preferably, backup your data before rooting.

Prepare this tools before do it :
1. Root z5 kitkat v2 (Download http://www.mediafire.com or Alternative link )
2. Intel driver (http://www.mediafire.com/download/4mlcgiato95r1ig/IntelAndroidDrvSetup1.1.5.exe)
3. USB Cable
4. PC Windows (I am using windows 7 for this experiment)

OK. let's we start this tutorial, how to rooting asus zenfone 5
1. The first, Download Intel driver on your pc extract it and install it.

2. After installed, connect your phone to your pc using usb cable. Don't forget to enable debugging mode. To do that, go to settings-about-software information-build number (tap 7 times to enable developer option) then, go back to settings-developer options-usb debugging (enable/check it).

3. After update, Test for authorized connection between pc and phone. Go to downloaded 'Root z5 kitkat v2' on your pc and click files-hold shift + right-choose open command window.

4. Then cmd will prompt. Then type " adb devices" hit enter. The left side is your serial number and the right side is the word "device" it means your good to go.

5. If the word "unauthorized" will appear instead of "device" then youre not good to go. So unplugged your phone from pc and reconnect again. A prompt from your phone will appear. Just check allow always to continue.

6. Please read the instructions carefully. These time we will root your phone. Now, stay connected to your pc with your mobile and open the file "rootz5kitkatv2" that you download file. Double click "root-zenfone5-ww" or "Root-ZenFone5-en"

7. The bat file will open and the rooting process is now starting. Your phone will reboot 5 to 6 times. Just press any key to continue. Wait for some more time

8. Last reboot will appear, check your phones app drawer, if you can see SuperSU, congrats! you are now rooted.
9. To survive root access during OTA updates, go to supersu-settings-enable pro. Once done, go back again supersu-settings-enable survival mode.

UNROOT ASUS ZENFONE 5

There are two ways for unroot asus zenfone 5, the first way is the following:
  • Open rootzenfone5kitkat folder
  • find UnRoot-Zenfone5-cht.bat or... en.bat
The second way is full unroot via super su app, go to super su - settings - click full unroot at the bottom, done!

The First Before You Root Device
Check your samsung device model ! Settings -> About device -> Model number.  If your device is a totally different model, it will not work (may even brick) !

This tutorial will rooting samsung device using CF- Root (Auto Root)
CF- Auto Root is the root for "rooting beginners" and those who want to keep as close to stock as possible. CF-Auto Root is meant to be used in combination with stock Samsung firmwares, and be the quickest and easiest way for your first root.

Ok, Let's do it, Follow these instructions :
What's installed in this rooting process
- SuperSU binary and APK
- Stock recovery

NOTE: Sometimes the device does *not* boot into recovery mode and root your device. Just do the entire procedure again if this happens. If it still will not install root and such, make sure that in Odin "Auto Reboot" is not checked. Then after flashing, pull the battery, and boot with VolUp+Home+Power button to boot into recovery manually. This will start the install process.

  1. Extract the entire contents of the zip file.
  2. If you are using Windows, ensure you have installed the latest Samsung USB drivers available for your phone.
  3. Ensure USB Debugging mode is enabled on your device.
  4. Connect your device to your PC via USB.
  5. If you are using Windows, navigate to the extracted directory and execute "run.bat". If you are using Linux or OS X, navigate to the extracted directory in a terminal and execute "./run.sh".
  6. Approve the ADB connection from your PC on your device.

Warning:
At this point, since there are no custom recoveries or stock images available, it may not be possible to repair your device should you accidentally break it. Please be aware of this before performing any modifications to your phone.

How to Reset Samsung Galaxy s6 and s6 Edge

Samsung is one of the best phone brand around the world, yes...smartphone that come from korean is one of the best smartphones in 2015, as it is packed with all the latest technology, but that does not mean your phone will not facing problems, or possibly damage.
Do you have any problem with your samsung device, don't wait for long, just reset to factory or hard reset!

Hard Reset is a procedure that allows you to restore a phone to initial factory settings. This method involves the loss of all personal data contained within your Samsung Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge, such as address book, apps, games and other settings. So, you should back up the data before wiping out your samsung galaxy smartphone. you can moving your personal data in the Micro SD, Flash Disk or Hardisk

We must tell you that hard Reset can be performed in two ways, but the purpose is the same, The first option is suitable for you when you can access to the menus of the mobile phone and want to restore.
The second option is recommended for those who have a frozen device, thus can not access the menus. You have to do the factory data reset via physical buttons.

  • Turn off your Galaxy S6
  • Now hold down the buttons VOLUME UP + HOME + POWER, waiting for the ignition. Immediately after the vibration of the smartphone, release the "Power" button but continue to hold down the "Volume Up" and "Home" button.
  • Release all keys when you see the Samsung Logo on your phone’s screen.
  • After that a new page appears displaying "Android System Recovery".
  • Using "Volume Down", locate and select "Wipe Data / Factory Reset".
  • Press the "Power / Home" button to start the operation.
  • Confirm by selecting Yes, delete all user data.
  • Finish
